We raise Silver Fox for show, pet, and meat. Silver Fox rabbits are sweet and docile. Despite their large size of 11-12 lbs. max. they are easy to handle gentle giants that make great pets, stylish show rabbits, and delectable, healthy meat rabbits.
We raise Polish rabbits for show and pet. This breed is small, they only get up to around 3 lbs. They are quirky, intelligent, friendly, and adorable. Our Polish buck (male), Picasso, knows his name and, when called, bolts to the door and begs for cuddle time. Picasso's picture is featured on the home page. They are little love bugs, perfect pets and fabulous show rabbits.
One of our goals is to promote rabbit meat. Rabbit meat contains 20.8 protein, 10.2 fat, 27.9 moisture, and 795 calories per pound. Rabbit meat has more protein and fewer calories than any of the more popular meats like chicken (20.0 protein, 11.0 fat 67.6 moisture, and 810 calories per pound), beef, (16.3 protein, 28.0 fat, 55.0 moisture, and 1440 calories per pound) or pork (11.9 protein, 45.0 fat, 42.0 moisture, and 2050 calories per pound. Since rabbit meat contains less moisture you don't pay for water. Rabbit meat is easy to digest, so perfect for children, senior citizens, or those with weak stomachs. It is easy to cook since you can use it in any recipe you'd use chicken in. Over all, it is a healthy, tasty meat that we feel should be more widely distributed.
